Ellen was here last weekend, and I'm so relieved to say, Final is feeling GREAT again!! On Friday, he was feeling okay, but Ellen had us work on medium and extended trots to really keep him round and coming thru from behind, and I think somehow that unlocked areas that he was holding in his body. Sat. and Sun. he felt fantastic! We worked on walk - canter transitions, to make him really "snappy" and responding to my aid, and that work helped with our flying changes. So now I have some great homework!
There's been a little change in plans as far as sending Fin down to Ellen's. I was going to take him down today, but instead I will take him in late July, and then when I go pick him up, I will stay a week to work with Ellen. We all thought this would be more beneficial. And a group of us are going to go down, me, Susan, Jen, and possibly others. Sounds like fun!!
